Was he not a good enough reason for you to stay?
Did you ever really love him or was that an image you portrayed?
You always questioned what happened to that sweet innocent child.
The child you locked in prison and left to rot in exile?
In a prison where his tears were the key,
And the sounds of silence became louder than his screams?
I wish your mistakes didn't became the reason for his depression,
And i wish his words didn't mirror a guilty verdict making a confession.
"I'm sorry and I never meant for it to reach this far"
To a dying heart, your words are as meaningless as a broken guitar.
