You watched my soul melted through the flames of your lies,
While my demons crawled through the break of dawn, before sunrise.
You ignored my whispers, now you'll be forced to hear my screams,
For the lantern that once burned bright, became the flames that burned my dreams.
And behind my perfect smile, there was a flowing stream,
Upon the banks of confusion and the boulevard of broken dreams.
Amidst the lines of the poems I wrote,
There was a line being omitted, the reality untold
And Upon the realignment of the stars
Not only will the moon reveal its scars,
But the sun shall grow cold,
For the hearts of the broken shall be renewed as gold.
